One District One Export Plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched a new portal- National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade (Niryat), to analyze, monitor, and boost commodity exports from individual states in the county. The platform is the first step toward building the ‘One District One Export Plan’, which will help break down silos and allow the government to fast-track decisions. Besides this, India’s first comprehensive report examining delayed payments to MSMEs and the impact on their survival/growth, supply chains, and overall economy revealed over ₹10 Tn to be currently locked up. MSME Secretary, B.B. Swain, announced that prompt payments to MSMEs lie at the top of the government's priority list and assured measures will be taken to ensure fairer and ethical business practices.
